Pretty much perfect for a replacement
I had bought an identical trash can like this from Walmart about a decade ago, and it recently got lost in a move. I think it was under a different brand (Mainstays or Better Homes and Gardens), but this one is pretty much identical. This trash can not only does what it's intended to do, but it's a great decorative piece. It doesn't have an "unsightly" trash can look. I just wish it had the black lid like the older ones. Other than that, it's the perfect size for my needs and a perfect fit for my decor. To the company who makes these, please offer them with the black lids, I'd purchase another

The first one i ordered came with a broken lid. The 2nd one works well and looks great. It does dent if bumped, but the dents pop back out.

Large capacity, garbage aluminum pail
Great purchase we needed a larger trashcan in the kitchen and this is the perfect size. We had a small smaller one and we had to keep taking the garbage out repeatedly, but was this larger one we can take it out less frequently also, it’s very attractive in the kitchen. The aluminum is very very attractive in our kitchen.

lack of quality control
do not purchase from this company. I got my first trash can and the lid was scratched up. so much so that it couldnt be ignored so I requested a replacement which arrived a few days later. instead of getting a perfect trash can, I now had one with scratches on the lid but now also the replacement didnt work at all. the plastic on one side of the mechanism to raise the trash lid was broken so it didnt work at all AND also was scratched up. total lack of quality control
