If you have a larger laptop, the Dell's 65W is not quite enough and the laptop slowly discharges under load. The LG solves that with 96W, and adds two USB-A ports so your keyboard and mouse plug into the monitor. One cable to the laptop, everything works.

Colour coverage is also a step up, though not enough to call this a creative monitor.
