Logitech Z533 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System with Subwoofer

After a few failures trying to get some good quality upgraded audio for my desktop computer without spending a lot, this system outperforms my needs and expectations. Easy to set up, easy to use. Really nice sound. It's been very nice, trouble free, ever since I started using it.

I bought this set to replace 20yr-old Altec Lansing ACS45.2 multimedia speakers that gave a loud pop on a recent evening, finally giving up the ghost. The Altec Lansings were awesome speakers, and I think I paid more for them 20 years ago than I paid for these Logitech replacements. These Logitechs produce very decent sound for inexpensive computer speakers, but they pale in comparison to my poor, dead Altec Lansings. I purchased these speakers to replace my Mother's computer speakers. She listens to Sirius XM all day and these speakers really deliver amazing sound. The bass is terrific and I suspect you could turn them up to quite a loud volume if you needed it. The power button and volume dial are super easy to use. Strongly recommend - I may buy a set for myself!

Great sound, good value. There’s definitely better speakers out there but these are perfect! You don’t need +$200 2.1 sound unless you are a professional that needs beefy speakers for mixing/making music. They come with a desktop volume control, and setup was very easy. My only complaint is they had some minor scuffs and scraps when I was unpacking them. For the average person this 2.1 system will get the job done!

I just set up these speakers and had to write a review because they are such a good value. These speakers are amazing for the price. I was a little nervous about what I would get for $29. My other computers have Bose Companion speakers but I did not want to spend $100 on speakers for a laptop computer I keep in my hobby room just for occasional reference and background music. I'm frustrated with it and can't give it more than 3 stars but it's all my fault.Originally I purchased this for a little extra sound with my television. Just something to add a little thump and a boom, you know? Good stuff, inexpensive, easy to put on and forget about forever.Except my television does not have the necessary hook ups for this.
