This little blender is a dynamo for the price. I love it!! I have smoothie pretty much every morning, usually with some type of frozen fruit and it blends powerfully and instantly and is so easy to use. I've had it for 2 years and it's still going strong. However, I did make one mistake. I put the cup in the bottom rack of the dishwasher and now it's cracked. My fault, I should have been careful and put it on the top, or handwash. But no problem, I just ordered a replacement cup for under $10. Still, using the cup for 2 years without a problem is pretty good. I'd recommend buying a an addition

Pile of crap, still blends but it sounds like its tearing itself apart. Very noisy, gears sound dry like their grinding together. Quality of their blenders as gone down drastically, last one I owned I loved it just wore out over a long time of daily use. I hoped to replace with exact model but couldn't find that model anywhere. I tried this one and have been extremely Dissapointed.

These are great personal blenders. My previous Oster MyBlend lasted over 5 years. I’m looking forward to my new one. These are so much more convenient than using a full size blender. They blend frozen fruit well. Which I also use İster for as well. The amount fits perfectly in an insulated 24 oz tumbler. I’ve also learned to put the fruit in first the add liquid and protein. If using a nut butter add after the frozen fruit. Enjoy!

Update: We had this for 2.5 months before it stopped working. Started it up one morning and it made an awful sound and we could smell rubber burning. I contacted Oster directly and I will say their Customer Service is fantastic. Already sending me a replacement (a different model)._____I wish I could give this 4.5 stars, but because I love this product so much, I went with 5.We've had an older version of the MyBlend for probably 10 years and we loved it until it finally gave up the ghost (in the machine). Maybe the blade rubber part was old. It broke after a month. It started to smell like burnt plastic. Then I realized it was the bottom part of the blender. Other than that I liked it.It for the mason jars well. It was easy to use and it didn't take too much space. It's also easy to clean and it doesn't have to many parts to clean. It comes with a To-go bottle, but I didn't get to use it. Blender blended what it needed to blend.The replacements also are expensive.

the plastic piece on the base of the jar that spins the blade to chop ice does not hold up. Over a month's time the plastic gradually chipped away so that there is not enough plastic left to spin the blade. Useless $53 product
