Really works well, though has some quirks. I put music on a flash drive, and found out quickly that it only reads .mp3 files. No problem, there are converters. I now have five flash drives full of music, each with a different type of music. The remote IS useful, because that's the ONLY way you can get to a specific piece of music in the middle without hitting the "next item" button a zillion times. It's not the best, of course, but it's far from bad. It's got good volume, decent bass, and even some eq functions. I'm not a fan of the fact that every time it turns on it also turns on the *only* light setting (party mode), as I wish it would turn on without lights, or have other modes, like solid colors or a simple rainbow fade. But other than that, the battery seems to last a long time, and it's a good system for its price

Update 3 months later: I thought this was the one so that’s why I got another one thinking it wasn’t like the first one. I really loved this radio, sounds good, looks good, but straight garbage. A total complete waste of money. Please do not waste your time and money like I did. I got to find another way to wake up and listen to my gospel. I’m pist about my time and money. First the bad then the good; lights stay on and you can’t control it so it’s cool at first and will definitely draw a lot of attention in crowds especially at night. But when you just want to relax maybe hook it up to your tv or something just chill in your house it can be a bit annoying.. and if you try to cover it then you risk blocking out the sound..speaking of which, I was genuinely surprised how loud it gets especially in open spaces.. unlike closed spaces where the sound bounces off something and comes back to you.. it gets up there but I wish it was louder and at least for the radio lo

I enjoy it very much. Easy to connect to and battery last for a while. Loud enough for a party and perfect for indoors.
