Has lots of bells and whistles i haven't discovered yet. Good unit. So far, it does what advertised.

Great Amp. I use it to power my five way from the TV. The outputs are balanced which means the 'stereo' output becomes mono from each speaker. It doesn't separate signals for each speaker. The plus side is it works very well as a signal booster to the speakers. The TV remote will control the volume. I've played USB music through it as well. Very pleased with this purchase.

I have some great speakers, but my 30 year-old receiver finally gave up the ghost, so I had to find something new. I don't blast music like I did when I was younger, so I was looking for something basic and inexpensive that I could use on my home theater system. How is it acceptable to sell a "rack mount" amplifier that can't be rack mounted? What kind of product manager would approve this insanity?It ships with four feet attached internally to the device. These are clearly problematic right off the bat for rack mounting. A rack "U" is a static measurement that never changes. The solution on the manufacturer's website to make this device, advertised as rack mountable, actually rack mountable, you must remove the feet yourself. Worked ok out of the box+ Tested all 5 surround speakers, but not the sub woofer+ Tested bluetooth,(Note: input source must be set to MP3)+ Tested AUX output from TV using RCA plug connected separately to both the AUX and TV RCA plug inputs , with source input set to AUX or TV - both options worked. I assume the AUX output from my smart phone,1/8" (3.5mm) TRS jack, will work the same when plugged into the TRS jack on the front panel, and that needs to be tested.. Works with my old panas

This is mostly about shipping. As you can see from the shipping package. It came in just a sleeve envelope. No the box itself had minor dents. No major obvious damage. It was not crushed or ripped.When I hooked it up 3 out of the 5.1 channels did not put out sound. I used the same speaker to test all outputs.The 2 outputs that did work sounded great. The volume out put is is easy to control. The treble, bass, and balance controls are convenient with the right speakers you can get a full range (for the average person). Has some heft to it and it's loud with my old huge speakers. I'll probably buy a larger one and use this for a bedroom TV stereo. Would buy again. UPDATE: Remote quit after 1 month, receiver lost one channel. Buying a Sony.
