The motor itself seems fine, time will tell.As others have said, the pedal is awful. The lowest speed that it actually kicks the motor on is like half speed. It's like those windshield wipers where you get one wipe every few minutes.. one click up is every other second, followed by ALL THE RAIN.I ended up reusing my original 1930s pedal and wiring this motor into that.

I returned it. I suspect some electrical problem in the foot switch because the housing got hot very quickly when I tested it. It also was very uneven in regards to speed. It goes from off to full speed almost instantly so it no would not work well for my needs

Works amazing it fits just right on my 1910 Singer 66-Red eye Sewing machine, it’s pretty strong and easy to install

Good little motor, not quite as strong or torquey as the original motor that came with my old Pfaff 30 but i guess close enough. Long wires/plug, simple instruction, seems like it was a good replacement. Hope it will last a long time. The foot pedal is nice, but seems cheaply made and light gauge metal was used, when compared to the old super heavy original foot pedal. But it doesn’t heat up the same way as the old one either.
