    Have a paper towel dispenser and it uses 4 Huge D cell batteries which only last about a month as the roll towel dispenser uses a lot of juice apparently so I got sick of replacing batteries and bought this..Removed the battery pack from the dispenser and hooked this up using the appropriate connector allowing me to run 2 wires + - to it and adjusted the voltage dial for the proper volts and it works great..Never again will I have to replace batteries..This has all kinds of adapters to charge or power all kinds of devices..

    5 volts for my phone 12 volts for my OTVOC and 19.5 volts for my HP laptop. All from the same unit. This is a great idea. Simply dial in the voltage you need and the resistance will determine the current drawn. Assorted tips work with all kinds of different things. Unfortunately there was no tip for two of my HP laptops, but for other laptops can all be charged with this unit. One of my laptops has no battery installed at all and this unit keeps it going 24/7 by dialing in 13.6 volts.

    Killer versitile Power Supply for the buck.

    I was needing a small, portable higher Amperage Power Supply (upwards of 5 Amps) for some effect pedals at rehearsals. This unit would be able to handle everything I use for said rehearsals and eliminate the need for three separate wall-warts as well as allowing me to leave my pedalboard power supply mounted under my pedalboard. I found the rotary knob to be a bit stiff but functional. After reading a couple of previous comments I checked the Voltage display compared with a Voltage Meter. While the built-in display on the ShnitPwr unit never shows the exactly correct voltage, it's close enough
