I ordered this during prime day, after watching it for several weeks. I was hesitant because of the cost, but I really fell in love with the look. I love the sleek look of it, the throwback vibe of the old singer machines. I needed a heavy duty machine and this fits the bill. It worked great and sewed through jeans I needed to hem, like butter! Also its speed was great and surprising for the money. Noise level was about average. After 35 years it was time to update my sewing machine. I made sure the machine was able to do what my hobbies entailed before buying it. I loved the look of the machine by far, so that was a selling point for me. I can free motion quilt with it, however you can’t regulate the foot petal speed, so it requires a bit more practice. I’m a beginner to this anyway, but it would definitely be easier if I could regulate the speed. Overall, I use quality fabric and thread and this machine does what I need. Nothing like a Singer! This is a great hat tip to the old spider, of which I own two. Both are still running well! Only thing missing is the “gold spider” itself. This heavy duty machine runs smoothly and has many stitch variety capabilities. Highly recommend

Got this for my mom, a 40+ year veteran to using a sewing machine, she love it and raves about the ease of use.

Machine is beautiful as pictured. I purchased as replacement of another Singer. I am not a seamstress, just sewing now and then to hem or fix clothing. My four star review is because the instructions included do not show you properly how to tread and use the machine. I keep running into small problems, like back side of article I sewed the thread punches up and is lose. I am sure it's operator error (mine), but I am still trying to figure it out. 😅 I will eventually figure it out, so yes I would recommend you to buy it.

This is the best sewing machine. You really can't beat a singer. My Mother had the foot padel type, and she use to sew for a living. Singer never changed you buy the best and get the best

I love this machine!!! It’s not all computerized, which I like because it feels like there’s less to ever go wrong. Still has all the different types of stitches I’ll ever need. Runs very smooth. Not nearly as loud as my old machine. Much less expensive than other machines I’ve found. Still carries a a trusted name in sewing machines. It’s not all metal, which I would have liked, but the important parts on the inside are. Guess it makes it less heavy and less expensive. Love the cover. Plus…it’s so pretty! I’m hoping it’s the last sewing machine I’ll ever need to purchase.
