I actually got this to use as a sponge holder for my kitchen sink, I had previously had an acrylic one that had draining holes on the bottom of it.. the issues was though that even though it had the holes, the water still stayed inside it or sat under it.. plus it would slide all around because it had no grip on it.I wanted to try something different, and so far I’m really liking this! Pretty good, it does the job but it has the same problem that all of these sorts of thing has. Soap sitting on top of it will leave soap residue accumulated on the grooves after a while, and then you'll have to soak it and scrub it or it looks messy. I find that using a holder the same color as your soap helps, so if you use Ivory with a black holder, it's obvious quickly. The drainage is a 3/5, so it drains but the design really could have used a few mm more height in the back (which I compensate for by resting it on the "ridge" of the sink). Who knew such a little item could make me happy. I just had to order this when I saw it because I have the type of tub that has no place to put bar soap where it won't fall. I've tried a few other soap dishes that are "pretty", but not very functional. This one actually works! It's made of silicone with ridges in it to keep the soap up off the bottom where water will pool. I did not see any defects; It's solid and well made. This silicon soap-holding thingy is very basic and works as expected. The material is thick but soft. It holds its shape. It lies flat on any surface, stays put, and does not shift. It does not mar or leave any residue. The dish is large enough to hold any-sized bar of soap, dish sponge, or scrubber. It can also be used as a spoon rest. I like that it is easy to wash. I never tried, but I bet it will survive a dishwasher cycle. It is sloped slightly towards the spout to direct the water. Works as expected. This helps my sink from overflowing water around the rim when using a bar of soap. ( our sink is built oddly).Stars off because the soap grime and water just sit there, it does not drain out as designed. So far it has not overflowed ,maybe all the left over soap is stopping it😂. But idk so yeah.

This little soap dish is a genius idea. I love the compact size because it fits easily beside my sink without taking up valuable counter space.The best feature is definitely the built-in drain spout. This silicone soap dish seems to work better than just having the soap or sponge sit on the counter or in the shower. However, it is not exactly self draining, especially when level; the water and soapy residue just sit there. That said, it is at least very easy to rinse clean occasionally, and because of the ridges, it allows the soap or sponge to dry out better than if it had just been sitting on a flat surface. It is made of flexible silicone and fits a bar of soap or standard size kitchen sponge well.

There's really not much to overcomplicate here. It's a simple silicone soap dish that does exactly what it's supposed to do.The silicone is thick enough that it doesn't feel flimsy, it stays put on the counter, and the raised ridges keep the soap from sitting in water.
