The scale has been going strong since I purchased it

This isn't any good for pour over techniques. It has no fancy bluetooth connection and does not time your shot but, for a very low price, it does a lot to improve your espresso technique starting with measuring your grinder's retention which is very important when you are single dosing and, of course, knowing the dose in the portafilter. For that purpose, what you need is 0.1g precision which means you need to get reapeatable results. For example, ideally the scale would show the same number when it weighed the same amount of coffee as beans or ground so that you know any difference in the num

works as advertised, i like the cover/ trays it comes with, it was packaged very well, for 13 bucks, you really can't expect anything better. calibrateing wasnt a big deal, mine was about 0.05 off, which for my purpose ( measuring out espresso) its wasnt a huge deal.

This works great for the kitchen. The size is perfect. So easy to find a place to store it out of the way. Super easy to clean and the display is bright enough to see from a side view.

Update; After 586 days the scale has finally given up the ghost. I should have tried to get it replaced while it was under warranty because it was always a bit wonky. About 3-4 months ago (3 months or so past the 12 month warranty) it really started acting up. I could say it was possessed by a mean spirited little sh|t that liked screwing with my head and would pass a polygraph 9/10 times. It's a sad day since I'll be outta juice before I can buy a replacement. I wish the quality control was better because I really liked the design, too bad I've had a couple.
