My kitchen scale had been struggling to switch between grams and pounds, and was pretty worn out, this is replacing that. In comparison the two scales are within a gram of each other, so I'd say this is quite accurate. I like that this new one can handle heavier weights since I sometimes to cook in bulk and often weigh up to 10+ pounds of food. The back lit screen is a new feature for me, so far it's kind of nice. Smaller than I was expecting, it's going to be hard to even get something that is 33lb/15kg to fit on this scale to reach the weight limit. It is super sensitive though. Weighs as low as 1 gram. We have a micro bakery and thought we could use it for that but it's much smaller than that. The product image has fruit next to it and that is not a correct representation of its size. If you need a small scale this will work great though. Like I said it is super sensitive. One thing I don't like about the design is the position of the feet and the buttons. Turn it on, select the unit of measurement, zero it out and go.
