Have used these books before. Wouldn't buy if weren't worth it

Not totally vbehicle specific as it can be applied to other simmilure cars as well but it will do for my purpose compared to a Lexus shop repair manual of $126.00 for my 2007 RX350. Doing DIY maintenance and small car repairs at home, using this book works for me. I have bought several of these Haynes manuals for different vehicles I havce owned over the years, I am 67 years old and the Haynes books have helped me DIY some repairs and maintenance at home saving me hundreds of dollars instead of paying shops. Good manual and about the only manual out there!

I don’t think this book is detailed enough. I have to get more information through Toyotas Oem parts diagrams. I think they got mad at me using that all the time cuz I’m not having as easy of time like I did with my Corolla GTS?

I've done virtually all of my own vehicle work for the past nearly 60 years and have always relied on these types of manuals to do everything even including rebuilding automatic transmissions, engines, doing basic fuel injection repair/replacement, etc. I have looked through it but haven't actually done any major work yet using it as a resource, but it appears to be well written and organized and contain all the information I'll need to do what I need to do and am able to do at my age that I wouldn't attempt without a good reference for torque values and other installation/repair instructions.

This book covers every aspect of any Toyota and Lexus great price AutoZone wants twice the price would suggest lot of hidden secrets I never knew about that my Lexus had

Back in the day, these manuals were super handy for the diy mechanic. I got this one for a car we recently picked up and find that it is not too useful. There’s too many different vehicles covered so the detail isn’t very good. So far I’ve found YouTube to be a better resource.
