Turtle Beach Recon 70 Wired Multiplatform Gaming Headset for PC, PS5, Xbox

I've been using this headset for six months, and I would give it a 4.5. Rounding up to 5 stars because I am fairly happy with it (comfortable to wear, 12 hour battery life, can be used while charging, and can also be used while off if you don't need the boosted audio/mic). The sound quality is really good. I'm not a competitive gamer, so I can't review anything in that aspect, but I'm always wearing these headphones. Also, I have big ears, so the cuffs being the way they are is amazing and very rare for me. These can be on for HOURS and my ears stay comfortable.The only issue I have (which is why it's 4 stars and not 5) is that although the muffs can come off for cleaning, the rubber used to keep them on tears very easily. I have used this mic for almost a year now and it is great. None of the black flakey stuff that can tend to happen with the other mics. The head pieces are covered in a meshy fabric rather than the foam which I enjoy. The only thing i would change would be the sizing options. Even at the smallest it is a little big and the padding on the top can result in a bit of a headache after a while. Sleek looking and I had no problems just plugging right in the day it came in.

Not great over time. Simple headset with good sound but not directional sound just left and right, less than ideal for gaming. Within the first year the power switch broke leaving the unit powered on in xbox mode so I have to leave it plugged into power when not in use. Disassembling the ear piece to repair is simple however the switch itself can not be removed easily and the small selector is impossible to repair.
