This headset is great. I have not used it long enough to tell you how long the battery lasts, however it's good for at least 8 hours. The headset Bluetooth to the controller real nicely, there's no longer any wires that run between the controller in my head. I love the fact that I can walk around away from my controller and still have my headset on. For the most part I would call it comfortable, however after a while having the headphone in my ear personally becomes somewhat painful. If I could rate this at zero stars I would. I had some trouble inserting it into the controller so I double checked the instruction manual and then tried again. Upon my second attempt, more confident that I was doing what I was supposed to be, I used a bit more force and it went in. So I figured it was just one of those things that requires some extra force. When I first got it I was having trouble hearing anyone but I quickly learned that you have to go into chat settings on the Xbox and turn everyone up. Once I did this it works perfect. Some friends did complain of excessive background noise but I remedied that by putting one of those little foam boots on the mic. The other thing I love, is even on my days off, my work calls me for various things. I can bluetooth my phone to the headset at the same time while using it to chat. Just what my son needed! He said they are super comfortable, great sound in game. Although they aren't as durable as I'd like. He accidentally dropped it and the casing broke apart. I super glued it and it's still holding! I've tried many other head sets for my son and we always have some problem so that was a little problem for us. I feel like for the price, they are awesome! Just plug and play like it should be!!! He can hear his friends just fine. And just having one ear means he can still hear me when I talk to him!!!

So turtle beach makes some I got this because I have kids and I need to be aware of my surroundings. It has decent volume. My only beef with it is that it tends to slide off the ear or move a lot. It is decent volume of decent like sometimes a little bit too sensitive. The Bluetooth adapter works well. It was a little difficult to set up, because the quick start guide isn’t as accurate as I would hope. To get this mic to work right you have to adjust the party sounds settings when your actually in a party with friends under the party settings (not main system settings).
