VIZIO SmartCast 36" 5.1 Wireless Soundbar System - SB3651

Works almost seamlessly with my Vizio TV. It automatically programmed to the TV remote and the settings are easy to use with both the sound bar remote and app. Set up was easy, the hardest part is measuring and mounting the side speakers. Once everything is in place and plugged in it basically just works. It does occasionally shut off in use, but I think it just mis judges when to switch to power save mode, works fine with that option turned off. The sound is such a vast improvement over the speakers alone and fills my apartment living room at only 10 volume, you could really blast this thing.

This is my second goaround with a Vizio sound bar. I had the previous generation of the 36" 5.1 channel sound bar which I purchased refurbished off a competitor's website. I was very pleased with it until just last week when the soundbar just stopped turning on. Which of course means that the wireless subwoofer and speakers are useless. Our television's sound has always been poor, music thin, speech hard to understand. The Vizio sound bar provided an immediate improvement, so I'm basically happy.I was impressed on opening the box to find that almost any cable you could need for any hook-up was included: HDMI, digital, optical, RCA, stereo mini. Too often, if you need to use anything except what the supplier thinks is best, you have to buy extra cables. Plugged this bad boy in and had it setup within 30 minutes. Placed the subwoofer behind the couch and the tweeters on either side and I gotta say the sub woofer shakes the floor and the surround sound is brilliant with how configurable it is.I wish the remote screen had a backlight for quick changes during dark movie watching but other than that I would highly recommend this product especially at it's price point.

Big fail.I bought this to both use on my Vizio TV and stream music from my laptop and phone via Bluetooth.It has a serious, limiting flaw, for these uses.First - Bluetooth requires you to repair EVERYTIME you want to use it. Leave the house? Yep, have to repair when you come back. Turn your laptop off? Yep, have to delete it and repair. This system is so good for its size. The sound is incredible. I have mine in my bedroom, but it would do well in a living room. The reason I say this is because after i set up and justed the sound levels for each speaker, i barely have to touch the volume. And i havent even tested my gaming system or any 4k movies; only the regular tv stations. It does take a bit to understand and adjust the different speaker settings, but once that is done, you've got a top notch system for a great price. I highly recommend this system.

I've had this soundbar for 4 months now. It's been pretty good, other than some annoyances that may drive me to get a replacement at some point, but not quite yet. This is my first soundbar, so it's all a bit new to me.The sound is actually quite good, but the soundbar turns itself off after an hour if there's no sound, such as if a video is paused or muted. Turning off eco-power is supposed to prevent this, but has no effect. Vizio hasn't responded to an emailed question, and there is no updated firmware available for this product. This sound system is perfect for my home theater. Sound quality is superb and it’s suitable for any large room in your house. Setup is very easy and integrates well with any modern flat screen tv. I like that you can use your own remote to control power and volume. Football game viewing is excellent, it feels like you’re right in the crowd. I’ve not yet tested how loud the volume could be turned up but it has way more power than I’ll ever need.
