I wouldn’t recommended for use in single seater Indycars or formula 1
Great cushion — excellent material, and was surprised at the price for the quality. The wedge shape gives steady support, firm but soft in all the right places, and it stays in place, comfortable on long drives. Breathable cover, holds its shape, reduces lower-back fatigue, and it fit my E550 as well as my Ford Transit work van. My work van is rough, the thickness definitely helps with my 47 yr old back pain. Highly recommended it.

This cushion saved me!!!! Just did a 14 hr road trip and this cushion helped so much! It removes pressure from the tail bone area and aligns hips for a much more comfortable ride. It is easy to transfer and secure between seats so you can take it to whatever seat you are in. It was to thick and high for my husband but I love it! I am 5’2 so a little height in the car is not a bad thing for me.
