beautiful blades very sharp the blade guards are great but the 7" Santou knifes guard was warpped hence the loss of a star i plan to 3d print a new one i love the roll up pack i have big hands and the handles could be bigger but i can use them easily and they fit my mom perfectly my old blades needed to be sharpened after every other use these keep there edge for at least 10 uses though a touch up with the honing steel is advised
Valentine's Day gift for my husband who likes to cook and loves to cut and chop food. This set looks beautiful but the handles feel hollow. I was surprised when I picked it up, they felt cheap. We do love it's one piece, no water will get in the handles. They are very sharp and cuts through meats and veggies with ease.I'm not sure if they are actually rust resistant because we dry our dishes and immediately put them away. Nice set and hopefully will not rust through the hollow handles.
This is a review of the MELEHO Knife Set. IT contains a 5’’utility Knife and a 3.5” paring knife. The blades of high carbon stainless steel. Stated in photos by the seller as 4116 type steel with "56±2" Rockwell Hardness though most such 4116 steel typically is 55 to 56 hardness. Typically also 13-15% chromium content. It should then have high corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. However, that comes at a compromise in edge retention.
