I wanted to leave a review partly because I found that expert info on range hoods is pretty limited out there. I went back and forth on several models of hoods before settling on this one. I chose it because of the high CFM rating, I like the way it looks and I like the look of real buttons rather than touch panel. I needed something for under cabinet with the vent on top so it could pass through the cabinet above it. I really like this range hood. It is a little noisy on the highest setting but works good. The lights have 2 levels for brightness which is nice.

This vent hood looks great. Mounted without any problems. Just follow the instructions. Look it over good before getting to involved. The first one I ordered had scratches on the top of the hood and would have been very visible once installed. Because I was careful taking it out of the box I was able to Re-box it and drop it off at the nearest UPS store. Amazon did a great job in facilitating the return and re-ordering a replacement. If you are replacing an old vent, take it out first to see which model you need and how much work you may have to do. If you are doing a first-time install skip the next paragraph.This model vents to the top and either out the ceiling or out the wall, it contains parts for both methods. I needed RH-RO6, whiich vented straitout the back of the vent. AWOCO sent me the adapter parts free of charge. Diagrams on the Amazon site might not show you the difference. ****Update and 3.5 stars because new unit is working and has continued to work well. I will update again if there are any problems. I would say it was a bit of a hassle or I would give it 4 stars. The fan is very powerful and works well for typical home cooking with our gas stove that has a 20,000 & 15,000 BTU burners. We mostly use it on the middle setting, which is about double the fan of our former microwave/hood. I've had this range hood for about two years now and it's still beautiful. The removable exhaust vents go into the dishwasher and come out sparkling, the unit itself is a high quality looking brushed stainless steel that has adjustable exhaust fan levels and the lights turn on with one push and a second push dims them.Wipes clean and looks great. We didn't replace the stove when we did the remodel and the range hood classed up the stove so that it wasn't necessary (stove worked fine - better than my previous LG high end lemon). Love this thing! Two level lighting. 3 fan settings and a shut off timer for the whole hood. Bright light and not over loud fan. Nice price. Good height and fit. Easy to use and looks good.
