We love this vent / light. The gesture control and remote control are very cool and work great. Having the fan in the attic takes away approx. 60% of the noise, maybe more. My fan is about 1.5' above the 10' cieling. TV is much easier to hear now. Mine was super easy to install due to how my house was framed.
I wanted a hood flush with ceiling. My stove is on an island. I have had a downdraft stove that I needed to replace after 25 years of service only to find out that downdrafts are no longer made. I did not want a huge vent and hood coming down from stove to block viewing area through house so I bought a ceiling mount hood which seem to be rare. So far it has worked great. Sometimes the voice control doesn’t work so well but may be my Southern accent. There is always the remote. The light bright. The noise level is a little high especially on fan4 level. Fan works excellent! It is noisy and my one complaint is the speaking option- you have to speak loudly to get it to understand commands. Airflow is great. Easy to use other than voice activation.
Worked as expected. Good suction power. It works with voice command well above have it mounted up on the ceiling and still works. Remote comes handy when the fan is too loud for voice command to get across. We have been using it for a month now and totally happy with the purchase.Item also arrived sooner than it said. Overall I am glad I found this. No more low hanging range hood on island for us. Makes our kitchen look more spacious and open.
