Good set, but I'm not really liking the carbon black knives. I thought I'd like it, but I didn't. Also the magnet knife holder takes more space on the kitchen counter thank I'd like. I also am not a fan of this white lines on black board. All in all, it seemed stylish until I got it on my hand. I need to clean out one of the kitchen drawers to lay down this holding board to place knives in there. Because of the white lines and writings on it, it cannot be used for anything else. This is an excellent six-piece set of knives with the foldable magnetic knife block. This magnetic knife block is an ingenious design. Not only does the magnetic knife block protect your knives from getting dull but also keep some cleaner. All six knives are extremely sharp and hold and retain their edge very well. I would say that they are extremely resistant to rust but I don't let my knives set in water long enough for them to have that issue. Not to mention the knife quality itself is excellent, this block is so much easier to work with than a standard knife block. No worries about wood blocks here. It's easy to clean and care for, the magnetism is sturdy but not annoying to remove the knives, and the knives themselves are incredibly sharp and precise. I can tell this will hold up for a very long time to come, feeling and being so far highly durable. The material is smooth and I love the little kickstand style way it props itself up. Takes up so much less space on my countertop. 100% Recommended!

I'm giving this a 4-star for one reason only: the design of the black block - it's got each knife labeled and then the brand name on the bottom right. If you're trying to keep your countertop "clean," that starts with labels. It just doesn't look good. And the knives for where each goes, is also outlined - all in white. Design-wise, I'd have loved it to just be black on black. It would've given it more of a subtle look, without being in your face. Aside from that, I give it....5-stars. The knives are full-tang and plenty sharp. The directions say to keep them sharpened, which I don't care for.
