I don't buy premium professional kitchen knives, but I don't believe I buy garbage either. I've had Kitchenaid and Henckels in the past as well as a few others. These are better. WAY better! They are comfortable, balanced, and absolute scalpels! Rarely have I been able to get see through tomato and onion slices after months of use. Razor sharp and precise. The scissors are the best I've ever used. I opted to get a magnetic wall holder, and everyone who comes over comments on how nice these knives look. I bought this knife set back in October, I wanted to wait before leaving a review to see how it all was and how it held.First this company gave me a thank you note which is very much appreciated. Secondly they say to hand wash and then dry to avoid spots etc. That is what I have been doing and let me say these are just as beautiful, effective since October. They still look brand new. Beautiful packaging job, each knife protected with foam and plastic. Knives are nice as there is no seam between the blade and the handle. Nice weight to each size knife. Would be the last knife set you would ever have to buy unless you lost them all.

Ok, I do reviews, but not always. I thought I'd review these knives because I'm cautiously optimistic. I had my other set of knives for well over 20 years. I thought it was time for a new set as mine are pretty beat up from all these years. I picked this set because they had good reviews and looked nice too. I expected them to be a bit heavier or substantial as my other knife set was a little more heavy duty. I have to say though... as for sharpness, this set is spot on. I used what I think is a boning knife today, it made me feel like a mini-ninja! It cut like butter and I never expected that

These knives are a wedding shower gift for my granddaughter and although I haven’t given them to her yet, I know she will love them. They appear to be high quality and they were a good value for the money. Good knives will make for a happy marriage!
