I'm really happy with this knife set! The sharpness and quality have exceeded my expectations! I thought my previous knife set was good but I didn't realize what I was missing until I started using these. They are well balanced and very easy to use. The grip is really comfortable, reducing fatigue. I was hoping that because they are all metal and don't have wooden handles that they'd be dishwasher safe, but the instructions say to hand wash. If you’re looking for sharp knives, these are definitely worth a look. All of them were super sharp right out of the box. One feature we really like is the removable sharpener. You don’t have to reposition the entire knife block just to sharpen one knife. The sharpener is also held on magnetically, so it won’t get lost or end up tossed into a drawer. It’s a small detail, but it makes things a lot easier. We haven’t actually needed to use it yet since the knives arrived plenty sharp so time will tell how well it works. Look, these are good knives. Are they Gordon Ramsay quality? No. But most of us aren't at that level. If you're looking for a better quality set without going too crazy, this is your jam. The block is fine, the sharpener is unsurprisingly crap, but the knives are good. They're decently balanced and have a good feel to them. They're also dishwasher safe which is always a plus for me.

A good knife is a must in the kitchen. One of the factors that determines a good knife is how sharp it is these knives arrive sharp and even come with a sharpener on the block. I love that there is no seam so we don’t have to worry about tiny food particles being stuck in the hilt. The block is a beautiful wood serving as both a statement for your counter but it’s functional as well. I had wash the knives and haven’t seen any signs of rusting I can’t speak to putting them into the dishwasher. Overall they are great knives that we use everyday.I would recommend them!

I love this knife block set. Because the knives are in one piece, I expect them to last longer than our current set, which has wooden handles. They do a great job cutting. When they dull, I'll be able to sharpen them, and I think it's pretty awesome that the sharpener is magnetically attached to the rest of the block.The scissors are pull-apart shears, which I didn't even know existed before they arrived.
