Well Constructed Set of Knives
These knives are quite sharp and impressive out of the box. The storage block is well constructed as well. So why only 4 stars? Two reasons: first I am not very impressed with the sharpener. It does not restore the factory sharpness, not even close! Second, I'm a bit disappointed that these knives didn't hold their edge for very long before needing to be sharpened. I can pretty much replicate the factory edge on my high end electric sharpener, but not the sharpener built into the block. One more thing, some of the reviews I read before my purchase complained about the knives rusting after bein

Sharp, nice looking, durable
These are beautiful knives, I love the knife block too. The knives are very sharp and well balanced. The set is solid metal and appear very sturdy. I like that the knives don't have a separate handle, it's one solid piece of metal. These knives require handwashing and immediate drying, so they are higher maintenance, but very worth it. I love this knife set.
