This is not a gimmick. This is a real leap forward.The depth is what changes everything. Once you see it, it is very hard to go back to a flat screen. Games feel alive. Environments feel like they have real space and presence.     It is worth the taking the leap if your budget and system allow

    I have had this monitor for just over a week. It arrived well packaged and was easy to setup on its stand. The stand is a hefty metal frame with generous height adjustment. You need to be especially careful not to touch the screen: it leave a noticeable smudge which could be physical damage. The monitor itself was surprisingly light despite its thick frame. I downloaded the latest Spatial Lab software from the Acer support site. I tested the monitor on my laptop which is a Dell Inspiron with 128 MB video memory, using HDMI. The 3D effect worked perfectly for the model viewer software. Note the
