Worked perfectly, no noise, no high pitch frequency or hums. Fantastic! I used as a permanent power supply for a project and the screw terminal jack end made it perfect along with the dual cords. Had a helpful power on led which made trouble shooting code faster instead of worry about if it was getting power.

I've purchased a few of these power supplies over the last couple of years. I've never had one fail and they have been really solid. I use this one to control the speed of fans that I have in a home purifier. it just works well. The voltage setting is difficult to get just perfect because the knob is very small. it is hard to get like 5.00 volts DC perfect. I don't need that much precision in what I'm doing so if I turn the knob and it's 4.90 or 5.24 it doesn't affect what I'm doing. so with a caveat that it's difficult to set a very precise voltage, this unit works really well for variable sp

I burned out a 12VDC power supply for my Masterbuilt smoker and was hurtin' to finish a couple of pork butts. Ordered this with 1hr delivery and it worked perfectly, and also has for several more burns. Anyway, the story doesn't really matter, what does matter is the PS works great.

This was purchased as a replacement PSU for a Sophos XG115 to be run with 3rd party firmware. This power supply did power the unit, but I had stability issues, with it locking up and requiring a power cycle to get working again. After checking all settings, I became suspicious it may be from the PSU output being too noisy, or susceptible to power transients. I purchased a different brand of similar spec'd power supply and have been using it without issue. I'm keeping the unit anyways, as I have a few other devices that can use 12v input over 3 amps for charging, and charging can tolerate noisy

I purchased this supply in October, 2022, and it has been lighting my flag pole daily since then. My LED lighting uses ~15% capacity load. It recently failed but I think almost 4 years of daily service is exceptional for this inexpensive supply. It was mounted in a non-heated weatherproof cabinet and, being located in western New York, it experienced wide seasonal temperature swings (100° to -15°). The voltage output is solid and the housing & cabling are very well made for the price.All said, I am very happy with this supply and will be ordering a replacement today.

How about this as a replacement to provide power supply to some avionics, this is a very lightweight power supply with great durability and versatility. It emits no noise whatsoever. I did not buy it for its charging capacity, but rather to power some equipment

Powers an LED strip setup without any hum or flicker, which seems to be the main use case for this thing. The barrel jack feels a little loose though, not something I'd want to bump repeatedly without eventually working a wire free. Output voltage runs close to rated but not dead on 12V under load, which matters if the project is picky about voltage.The housing itself feels solid and well insulated, and it stays cool to the touch even after running for hours, not the kind of warm that makes you want to check on it.
