I bought this tripod for a limited, specific purpose and therefore didn't want to spend a lot. I have another very nice, very expensive tripod for my heavy cameras and didn't expect much quality from this cheap one. However, I was surprised at how much I actually like this tripod. The weak part (for some purposes) is that it is very lightweight and wouldn't be so great for my DSLR with a big heavy telephoto on it. I’m impressed with the quality of this. I literally only took one star because I paid for new and received a return. The packaging told a story. It feels amazing, not heavy but not “cheap light”. It positioned my camera perfectly and had several different angles and positions. It’s tall enough for every shot. Great price for such a product. I only took a star for the used item i received, if it were not such a good item I would have sent it back.
