The ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero EVA-02 Edition is the result of a new collaboration centered around EVA-02 and Asuka of the long-celebrated Evangelion anime series. After catching your eye with EVA-02’s signature red-and-orange theme and traces of green, the artistic flourishes keep coming: an AT Field design surrounds the CPU socket, and Polymo lighting on the I/O cover switches between Asuka and regular EVA-02.

    I love this board. I am using this board with cosair 128 ram, asus Geforce ROG 4090 24gb, (4) 1 tb samsung sata drives, (4) 4 TB westington digital sata drive, (5)ssd m2 1 TB, cosair 1600 power supply. (8) string cosair led lights, 11 cosair led fans. System run outstanding.

    A Beautiful Beefy Beast

    Preem board with loads of features I haven’t gotten on flagships that I’d love to see standardized. New mobo needs drivers? They’ve got you set with a usb in the box. That big A graphics card a pain to release? There’s a button to the right of the ram. See that thing? That’s a spring release that slides the whole locking mechanism out of the way to make retrieval a breeze. Might not be an E-Atx board, but it’s got the space and features of one. Looking forward to enjoying this baby for a while.
