Upgraded from B860 max gaming ax motherboard , install was scary because it my first time but booted right up and works just fine. Just go slow and steady, follow instructions you’ll do fine. Beautiful looking board , beefy VRM and heatsink everywhere. Solid heavy board ,now need to save up for a quality gpu. If your looking for the latest and greatest this is the board.

Not the cheapest Motherboard out there, but its rock solid and has a bunch of features. You get what you pay for and this Asus ROG 890 board delivers.

The motherboard failed after one month in use. It started shutting down programs randomly then, blue screen whenever any program is opened. It has 192 GB of Ram, I9 processor, 8G RTX 4060 video card. It will not stay on more than 5 minutes without going to blue screen. This is the first PC in 20 years that has a failed motherboard. Do not buy this motherboard it is very low quality it is a ticking time bomb.I sent in a RMA to ASUS because it is under warranty. They circled an area on the CPU pins and said it was the problem. Then they shipped it back with completely different pin damage intent

Sealed, brand new, box from manufacturer and no issues after months of use. Paired with rtx 5090 and intel ultra 9 285k 64 gb ram all liquid cooled. Was able to tune down to make 4 sticks of 16gb work stable with high load and demand AI work plus games stable at 5400-5600 mts (didn’t want to spend the money at the moment on 2 sticks of 32GB

Not quit the high quality I'm used to from ASUS I feel they dropped the ball on this board I owned a ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero Intel board I feel that was implemented way better than this board.

Overall, this is a solid motherboard and I’m happy with the item itself. It performs well on paper and meets expectations in terms of build quality and features.However, the delivery experience was disappointing. The heatsink was not securely fastened and was moving freely inside the box during shipment from the US to Australia. Because of this, the heavy heatsink scratched the metal panel of the board. I’m concerned this may have caused potential damage, even if it’s not immediately visible.At the moment, I don’t have a CPU or RAM available to test whether the board is fully functional, so I
