ASUS ROG PG27AQWP-W 27 Inch 1440p 540Hz Tandem OLED Gaming Monitor

I purchased two of these monitors about a month apart, and interestingly, both panels were manufactured in April 2026. The first unit arrived around July 10th, while the second arrived around August 10th.The first unit had noticeable gray uniformity/banding issues out of the box, starting at around 15% gray. However, after roughly 200 hours of panel break-in, mostly running HDR content and performing pixel cleaning approximately every 10 hours, the situation improved dramatically. The bands are now barely noticeable and only really visible around 90–95% gray. I’ve also documented my experience

TL;DR - The monitor I was sent From/By Amazon(NOT 3rd Party) had a defective panel. Also for an $1100 product the packing material was really subpar. They only gave me the option to return and did not offer a replacement. Weeks of waiting wasted.I ordered this monitor back in February and waited several weeks for it to finally ship and arrive to me. First-ever OLED purchase, and I don't regret it at all. Beautiful glossy coating and striking design. The blacks are amazing, and the colors are really vibrant. OSD menu is easy to use, and the Neo proximity sensor is a good feature to have. I know there are other OLED monitors out there for cheaper, but truthfully, none are as beautiful to me design-wise. This monitor makes for a beautiful centerpiece for my new setup. 10/10

The ASUS ROG PG27AQWP-W is an absolutely insane gaming monitor if you care about both image quality and competitive performance. The OLED picture looks fantastic with deep blacks and the motion clarity is incredible. All the burn in mitigation tech makes this a great monitor for work and gaming. The white ROG design is a nice bonus too and stands out from the usual all-black gaming monitors. Best monitor I have ever used.

First, I want to say that this monitor is not bad at all. It is bright, colorful, and user friendly; their software makes it easy to switch between color settings, and enable several OLED protection features. And yes, the 540hz is definitely noticeable so don’t let people fool you into thinking you can’t notice the change.The reason I’m giving it 3* is due to something called “panel lottery” which is what a lot of reviewers tend to skip out on. The best quality OLED I’ve ever had! Value wise it’s very expensive but the performance is Amazing, picture quality is amazing, adjustable settings for preferences. All around amazing(I haven’t taken my plastic off yet. Too scared to lol)
