Solid, sharp, good quality knives
Those knives were a replacement for the old set that started getting rusty. Stake knives are straight-edge, which is great, since they can be sharpened. In fact, my husband already sharpened some of the knives, and in his professional opinion, the steel is of good quality. We love to keep our knives in the drawer, so having that bamboo storage was one of the deal-breakers for us. I love the chef's and santoku knives - they are my favorite tools for food prep. They are balanced and fit nicely in the hand. Be careful with the carving knife - it has a very sharp point because of its curved shape,

Great super sharp knife set
Very sharp knives. To keep them this way you must hand wash, but they are able to be put in the dishwasher. I had the same problem with the drawer not being able to close, however I was able to remove the spacers on the side closest to the door and it fits perfectly. I've been using since Thanksgiving and love them. I would highly recommend!

Sharp, as expected and as they should be. Was a great deal at about $125 when I bought them. They still function very well without any sharpening 20 months after I bought them.Beware, the (larger) knives are quite heavy, which may be what you want, or it may not work for you.

Fantastic starter knife set
I bought these on sale when I moved into my first “big girl” apartment. I hated using cheap, flimsy and dull knives. I wanted a set that looked pretty, were substantial in terms of weight and material and would make my cooking prep efficient without breaking the bank. They were pricey in comparison to knife sets you can get at the grocery store or at Walmart, but these are in another caliber of quality! The in-drawer feature is amazing as someone who hates clutter on the kitchen counter, and I love the look of it when I open the drawer. These knives make me feel bougie. You must care for these
