I bought this camera as a return to the Canon system. I took it on a photography retreat. I am thrilled with the results. The animal tracking was able to handle whales unexpectedly surfacing. Most of my shots were in focus. If they were not it was my error.The only real complaint I have is with the lens. Canon has switched from a metal mount to a plastic one.

Been enjoying the R7 a lot since I've had it. It replaced the T7i which was quite a good camera, although only 1080p on the video, with this one having 4k and more functionality. The autofocus is great, easy to use, works great with my 300 mm telephoto lens, great quality and durable. Also love the 18-150mm lens that came with it, big improvement over the 18-55mm I'd been using before.

Love this camera. Works great for bird photography. The lens is a great multi purpose use lens. I also bought a 150-300mm lens to provide more reach, but the camera body is amazing. Still learning, but it’s not that difficult. You can start with auto and move to manual mode as you master the camera.

Easy to use and quality product

I started with a film 35 mm SLR camera decades ago and had a couple before switching to digital cameras. In the last decade or so, I've concentrated on bird photography. I had a Nikon P-900 which had an incredible zoom lens (2,000 mm equivalent!) but a tiny sensor, poor handling of whites (birds with white feathers lacked detail) and an inability to focus quickly enough for birds in flight. I switched to a Sony RX10 mkIV with a larger sensor, far better white handling and faster focusing at the expense of zoom (600 mm equivalent). It was a good camera and pretty flexible, but still not very go

So far I love this camera. Continuing to learn it and I love this camera. Would recommend to anyone.

Love this camera! Have been using it for about 2 years. It's no secret that it does struggle in low light situations but it is a solid performer overall. Great budget friendly camera with very nice features overall. In body stabilization, dual card slots and 32 megapixels were the deciders for me. It's been amazing. I have no complaints after buying this.

i bought this camera just 2 months back and facing shutter issue as well as focus issue. went to canon camera service center and they say this is out of regional warranty. please please check everything before you buy something on amazon simply relying on warranty.
