Same way connecting an HDMI device, it works great this is a must have for your car, specially if you spend time in your car, definitely I recommend it.

Get too hot. Disconnects and restarts. Never got to use consistently because it never worked for more than 30 minutes

I could not get the box to work with Android auto. The box kept trying to force car play. Called the troubleshooting number and was just given a refund instead.

The Apple Carplay and Android Auto portion of this thing works great. The HDMI portion is another story... It was hard to get it working correctly with the S24 Ultra. I use a USB C to HDMI cable to connect my phone to this thing. I've ran both DEX and screen mirror with it. There is noticeable lag when playing videos. The quality is also not that great. You also can't use the touchscreen in the car for Samsung DEX. There is a button to set the screen size at least. You can stretch it to the whole screen, zoom to fill, or standard size. I tried updating the device, but it did not work. I follow
