This thing is great! The first great thing about it was you just plug it in and it works. Connects very quickly. Came right up on the firestick and boom there it all was on my car's display. There were a few things I was unclear on before I bought it from reading reviews, so in case this helps...Setup: Highly recommend setting the firestick up first inside your house. Purchased this for a 2021 Silverado with a no frills audio system, sirius xm, & onstar; basic display. Took a few tries to get it working, and literally all the software had to update (Netflix, Amazon, HBO, etc.). Be prepared to babysit while it updates - you may need to interact to accept EULAs, depending on the software. I think because of the age of my vehicle is why it took a bit of finagling to set up. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS READ THIS BEFORE RETURNING:4 stars only because NOTHING anywhere tells you one critical issue that will cause it not to work.If you only use USB-A for powering the Fire Stick, it does not supply enough current to power it. You can fix this by using a direct Micro-USB cable from the Fire Stick to a USB-A port via an adapter that goes in the 12V cigarette lighter power port. I chose to use a second adapter so I could use a USB-C version as that supplies 4x the wattage for a much more stable power supply.Aside from that issue that almost had me sending it back, it works

Bought it with lot of hopes, but it didn’t work. Tried everything, swapping power sources, swapping cables, setting up the fire stick on the TV first, restarting the car, restarting the devices, but none of them worked. It appears on the screen for a second, and then it just disappears. I’ve tried giving it enough power to light up a house, but still doesn’t work. Don’t buy.
