I was pleasantly surprised by this sub $20 dollar watch. I purchased this watch for knocking around.However it's appearance is quite nice. The dial has a nice easy to read face that is quite bright in daylight. The led light for the dial is very bright and you won't have any problems in reading the dial using this light at night. The watch claims to be water resistant. I already had it exposed to a light rain without any problems. I particularly like the velcro band. It allows you to adjust the band to fit your wrist exactly. No more bands sliding down your wrist because the holes in the band

I chose this watch as the best aesthetic match in my price range. I found it quite reasonably priced, well-matched to my general aesthetic, and quite durable. The band is very comfortable, and the light is very convenient for nighttime use. It has kept time accurately for the three years I have had it, right up to the morning I woke and found that the hands were no longer moving. The battery lasted about three years, as advertised (bought March 2023, died July 2026). My only gripe is that, instead of telling me which battery the watch takes so I can order a replacement, the user manual says, "

I really like this watch, even more than I anticipated. It looks good and functions well. The orange illumination is a quite pleasant change from the usual, and the fact that you can stop the second hand while setting the time to synchronize with your smart phone is pretty awesome. What really makes it outstanding is the adjustability of the band. With regular bands one adjustment hole is too tight and the next is too loose, but the Velcro fastening lets me set it up just right.

I have owned several “field watch” style analog watches, most recently a metal Timex Expedition, which is a handsome military style watch. While well built, the Timex is heavy. I tried this Casio model because the weight, about half of the Timex’s, was one of the lowest weights of any analog watch available on Amazon, with the exception of perhaps a Swatch or the tiny Swatch-like Casio which the Pope wears (Google that if you don’t believe me).
