Casio Heavy Duty Design Watch

I gave this watch to my husband as one of his birthday gifts. He actually asked for a work watch and this one didn’t disappoint. It is sturdy and looks great. My husband really likes it. I highly recommend this watch.

First of all I received this watch less than 12 hours after I ordered it, which is awesome.What I love the most about it is that it is very lightweight and has a somewhat similar look of a much more expensive (and LARGER) g shock without the extra bulk. The g shock gravitymasters are well made and have more functions, but they are also a good 10mm wider than this thing. I have a smaller 6.5in wrist and this watch fits great, and is so comfortable that I forget I have it on. I've used this watch as my beater/work watch, as I have with other Casio watches in the past. This watch is marketed as "Heavy Duty" and I'd say that's not too far fetched. It can take a fair amount of abuse and happily continue on performing. The only thing I've had stop this particular watch (temporarily) has been the battery finally quit after 3 years (it did give me a warning it was getting weak, but it was a trooper and kept accurate time almost to the end), and then one of the straps finally ripped on me, also after 3 years of at least 5-days a week installing/uninstalling on my wrist, s

To summarize: I’ve found this watch to, overall, be a good watch, just not ideal for my particular needs.Now, I’ve worn a watch 24/7/365 since I was in 3rd grade. If I can’t wear a watch to bed, in the shower & when I jump in the pool it’s not for me. While I have different watches for different needs (work, every day, dress, SCUBA diving) I have no need for a delicate, fragile watch. Also, doing HVAC, I work with my hands. I got this to give as a Christmas present for my stepson and it was a good idea. He loved it so much that from not wearing any watch before now he can’t take this one off. Color is beautiful and the watch itself is good quality. It’s easy to use and the fit on him was amazing (he has skinny wrists). It has function very well since Christmas and the value for what you pay is worth it. It’s water resistant but I haven’t get any complaints from him about this yet.Overall is a beautiful piece and I do recommend it.

When it comes to rugged and stylish reasonably priced watches, few watch makers can match Casio. This watch is an excellent example of Casio craftsmanship at a very reasonable price point This watch is fully analog, meaning that other than the date display, there is no digital interface at all. In that sense, this watch is very traditional in it's function, but it's look and style are thoroughly modern. This is the second one of these I've purchased in the last 7 years. Showered with it on, sweated (alot) in the heat with it, dunked it in water a number of times - absolutely no problems at all. The reason I replaced the first one was due to the band breaking - the watch still ran perfectly. But the band was only about $10 cheaper than a new watch, so I bought the second one. I've only had this watch for less than a day but am loving it already. It's visually stunning to look at and not too heavy on the wrist. I often travel and wanted something very easy to adjust to the different time zones. This watch really fits the bill. I have about four G-Shock watches and without having the instructions nearby, changing the time is a major hassle due to their ana/digital nature.
