when you remodel or upgrade a century plus year old home sometimes the most common things don't fit.our place had no place to vent air out of the kitchen and no means short of many thousands of dollars to open up the wall and make a space. so when i saw this type design i thought it was the answer we really needed.it arrives assembled with the exception of the vent pieces that go on top. of the two pieces i only used the one with the vent flaps on it. make sure when popping in place that your vent flaps move in the right direction. air in so flaps need to go up to let the air out.i used just f

It’s a nice unit and was “almost” easy to install. The holes in the back part where you attach it to the cabinet above are too close to the wall and too close to the sides for easy installation. It’s darn near impossible to get the screw gun inside the unit to put the screws in. I’d prefer four inches in from the back and the side. Then it’s a 5. You will require an electrician to install a dedicated circuit by utilizing the required box, receptacle, and plate if you need to pass code. Works great so far.

This sleek design range hood looks fantastic in my kitchen. I purchased the bright silver. I was afraid it would be too shiny and stick out too much. It actually is more muted absorbing the colors of my dark cabinets around, blending in. It doesn’t overpower the space as our old clunky looking range did. It was an easy installation. The three different fan speeds are effective. The mesh filters are easy to remove for cleaning and fit snug leaving no gaps. The two overhead LED lights in the front are bright, illuminating my stove and cook space. Very pleased with this purchase.

Purchased this Under Cabinet Hood Vent to replace an ugly 20+ year old one. I needed ductless because my oven sits on an inside wall of the kitchen with nowhere to vent. In addition, I needed a corded one to plug in since I am not an electrician. This CIARRA checked all the boxes and looks great. The fan is a bit loud but no worse than the one I replaced. Installation took a little less than an hour for this senior lady so no complaints there either. Highly recommend for the price.

Appearance is sleek and modern. The light comes on but if you move your hand, it goes out. I reached out to customer service with no success. I barely used this product. I'm very disappointed. The labels on the product are written in a foreign language and cannot be read because the label looks like it is put on inside out. .Stay clear no Customer Service in the US. Stay clear of Amazon's Best Choice; this was one. I reached out to Amazon and since I purchased it over six months ago they couldn't help eventually I did talk with an Amazon rep on the phone and I was given a customer service numb
