I used this in a flip house because it was less than half the price of the big box store versions. It looks great, was easy to install, and was packaged and shipped well so it arrived in great condition! The controls are easy to identify and use. I believe it should be a good quality, powerful fan for years to come.

This was direct fit to my rentals 30 inch old greasy hood. Airflow is good and ease to install. Built quality was very good and the quality of the finish was very nice too. Replacement of the filter was not as easy. There should be a lever to remove the filter but it doesnt so the filter gets bent to be installed so that needs improvement. Also it should have a cover for the connections. Works great though and LED light is bright enough.

This is typical of many Chinese knock-offs. In many respects it's fine. However, the engineering is flawed. Kind of tricky to install, and the big one--NO COVER PLATE FOR THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS. I don't know about you, but having electrical connections exposed to the steam and grease of a cooktop seems like a recipe for disaster to me. I ended up taking the plate from my old greasy range hood and adapting it to this one. I kept it, but for that reason will not be buying it again. Otherwise looks and works fine. If the manufacturer would spend 30 cents more for that cover plate, it would ge
