VIKIO HOME 30 Inch Under Cabinet Range Hood 900 CFM Dual Motor Power

I had a range hood installed over my gas burner stove over 20 years ago and noticed that the air coming from the top of the roof could be felt below the range hood. So it turns out that I wanted one that had a damper flap in it and the range hood had to be 42” in width. Amazon’s AI made it easy to find. This was the only one available on Amazon that fit my requirements. All others did not come with a damper flap and it was impossible to tell from the Home Depot and Lowe’s websites whether or not the range hood had a damper flap. And they were a lot more expensive than this Vikio 42 Inch model.

This thing is awesome! Dual fan really moves some air. Some customers complained you couldn't turn the fan off without turning off the power altogether. Well Vikio must have listened because you can select three different fan speeds or turn off just the fan and leave on the light. Problem solved. I didn't think I'd need or use the touchless feature but it has come in handy a few times and works very well. Had a minor issue with one of the filters being dented. Purely cosmetic. Very happy with this range hood. Installation was straightforward and went smoothly with my wife’s help. The 900 CFM dual motors move a lot of air and are a huge upgrade from my old single-blower hood. It looks great, feels well-built, and the LED lights are a bright enough. Hand gesture sensor is a bit annoying but you can turn it off.One of the filters arrived damaged, but I reached out to Vikio support and had an excellent experience. "Inspected by" sticker a joke. Arrived with all screws loose holding fans in place. 1 had actually fallen out. Had to completely remove the fan shroud & fan in order to retrieve the rubber vibration bumper from inside the unit. Pretty difficult to put it all back together. Otherwise, works well & looks great. Fingerprints come off stainless steel easily. Unobtrusive subtle led lights indicate function. Sturdy & filters easily removed.

The device was installed in my kitchen around the New Year 2026. It works well. Its fan and light are easy to use and reliable.

Nice overall but has some flaws.Humming noise at low speed so we can only tolerate med or high.Standard size is 30 inches. This is 29.5 inches and leaves a gap.Lights have only one setting.

This is a very well constructed range hood. There is one thing that made installation very difficult for me — the location of the power cord. I realize most would be installing under a standard over-range cabinet, but I have a custom built enclosure from an existing old hood. The cord location is exactly under the 2x2 that I needed to attach hood to. So I had to build a custom support for this hood. Once installed, though, it looks great and functions well. The wall switch in the photo controls a "puller" fan on the end of the vent run. So I removed the included damper and use the one already

Bought this range hood about a month ago. As it comes in with a cord that you can just plug in to an outlet, installing it was a breeze. The suction power of this hood is three times more than the one I replaced. It is much quieter even at the highest speed. Very happy with this product. Additionally, I was so amazed by the customer service their customer representative, Vivi, provided me.
