I purchased VIKIO Home 30 inch under cabinet hood in November 2025. I think, 6 months of use is sufficient enough to evaluate its functionality, durability, performance,, and its quality.I like to write a review of any product only when it exceeds my expectation and ensures excellent value for the money (hard earned!).It is a beast at the highest fan level ( level-3). It is a bit noisy but sucks most of the air in no time.It is very quiet at fan level-1 and well tolerable at level-2.Motion sensor is very convenient and is working flawlessly so far. Instructions were good for installing. It was very helpful to have three people for installation if you don’t have table with jacks to support it.We are happy with the fans and bright light. It is not whisper quiet fans, but it does the job nicely.The unit was shipped in strong box and arrived in perfect shape.

I wanted to replace the microwave installed above my kitchen range with an actual vent that works. After many hours of exploration I settled on this Vikio model because of its design and functionality. It has 3 fan speeds and a light that you can replace yourself if you want a different LED level of output, unlike some other makes that require you to contact the manufacturer and replace an entire control board with a built in lamp.Some people have said that the fan is noisy, but on its lowest set I didn't find that to be the case. Good quality product. I ordered a GE profile range hood with our other appliances and it was trash. This was about $100 dollars cheaper, looks better and it much much higher quality. Dual motors, moves air, not too loud on high setting.

This 36" range hood is working great, even on the lowest fan setting, and the lights are bright and provide excellent visibility while cooking. The sleek, modern design looks beautiful in my newly renovated kitchen.We were missing a part when it arrived, but the customer service team responded quickly and sent the replacement. They were helpful and made the process easy, which I really appreciated.Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

As a general contractor for over 30 years renovating hundreds of kitchen, I rarely leave negative reviews, but this range hood was a huge disappointment. The noise level is unbearable—even on the lowest setting it sounds like a loud fan constantly rattling, which makes it impossible to have a normal conversation in the kitchen.Worse, the actual performance is very poor. I like the three differential fan speeds . I just like the whole everything about this stove hood.Oh, did I mention the fact that you could operate it with just a wave of your hand in front of the controls.
