I don’t know how long it lasts. But I used it to fit hinges on four doors and it did a good job.

I am new to working with a cordless router, always owned corded. I love the convenience of it being cordless and light weight. Another plus is my DeWalt batteries fit easily to this tool. My major disappointment was with the depth adjuster. When the clamp is released to turn wheel to adjust depth there is no guide to keep the router from spinning and moving the router off the adjuster teeth in the housing. Otherwise, the strong motor, braking feature along with being reasonably priced made this tool a easy like.

If you told me this was a DeWalt-branded router, I’d probably believe you. It feels surprisingly nice in the hand and the overall build quality is much better than I expected.It runs smoothly, has plenty of power for the projects I’ve used it on, and the variable speed settings are useful depending on what you’re working with. I also like that it works with DeWalt 20V batteries I already have, so there was no need to add another battery system.The included bits and accessories make it an even better value. Works well, feels like a quality tool, and has definitely impressed me so far. 5 stars!
