Nice compact router with adjustable speeds. Easy to handle.The collet is two piece - 1/2" with a 1/4" insert. The insert does not hold tight and the bit moves vertically while routing. Mine was flung across the workshop on the second pass, even after tightening a second time.Do yourself a favor and buy a 1/4" stand alone collet.

Lasted 1 year, DEWALT is not what it used to be. The fine threads are easily stripped on the collet. The cord is a bit short, The armature seized before the first set of brushes worn out. I bought three of these and after a year they are in the landfill. I'm either gonna spend $400+ on some newer brand or just buy older Porter Cable routers on eBay. I used these on CNC machines average 4 hours a day. This DEWALT router is 1 step above Harbor Freight routers will NEVER buy DEWALT products again China Crap.

Another great tool from DeWalt. I purchased this router to install on my router table. I needed the 1/2" collet capability for larger router bits and it has plenty of power for those larger applications. Bits are easy to change and the variable speed adjustment gives me a lot of flexibility for different jobs.
