This is by far the best rice cooker I've owned or used. First and foremost, the rice comes out phenomenally well. I tested jasmine, medium and short grain varieties. Each rice grain comes out perfectly uniformly cooked with a very pleasant chew. The unit itself is very well thought out and extremely well built with durable plastics on the outside and a hefty stainless steel inner pot.Speaking of the inner pot. This is a very nicely finished pressure rice cooker. Because rice is a daily staple for our family, a durable pressure cooker with a hygienic stainless steel inner pot was a must. I spent months researching options before choosing this one, and I am so glad I did. The Cuchen 6 cup stainless steel bowl is a bit of a mixed bag for me. On the positive side the rice cooks very well and the texture is exactly how I like it. However the user settings are not friendly at all and I have found it quite hard to use. I had a difficult time just figuring out how to open the top and it took me forever to find the quick cook option in the menu.I am also still getting used to the stainless steel bowl because the rice sticks way too much. I purchased this model knowing that sticking was a possibility with steel but it is still a challenge to deal with during cleanup. B

Cooks rice with a delicious chew. It is so fast, sticky rice can be made in 16 minutes on turbo mode. Super simple to use. Put in rice, fill water to line and your done. I’m looking at the negative reviews on here and feel that people have the wrong expectations. One guy says it yellows the rice fast when he leaves it on keep warm for 12 hours! No rice is going to be good after keeping warm in a little rice cooker after 12 hours! Just because it can be used for that long doesn’t mean you should.Cleaning is a breeze. Absolutely thrilled with my new Cuchen rice cooker! My old one finally gave out after a decade, so I decided to upgrade, and wow, this machine is fantastic.First off, it's super easy to use. Just push a button and you're good to go. The menu options are great whether it's sticky rice, brown rice, or even steamed dishes, everything comes out perfectly cooked every time.The stainless steel inner pot feels very solid and is durable, which I really appreciate. I bought this Cuchen mainly because the inner pot is stainless steel. Unfortunately, that’s the only thing I liked about it. The rice whether white or brown always comes out dry. No moisture whatsoever. I suspect it doesn’t build enough pressure while cooking. I’ve tried different water ratios and settings, but nothing helps. I’ve owned several rice cookers before, and this one makes the worst rice by far. I bought it a week ago and am already trying to return it… which is turning out to be another headache.

It looks good quality. However, it would be much more user friendly if the inner pot had two handles.
