Excellent value, compact, and powerful. Eats through 2ah batteries but can handle a decent amount of work with the 5ah

This is the second Dewalt 12V cordless oscillating tool that I own. I wanted a second tool so I could have one tool set up for cutting and a second tool set up for sanding. These tools have been awesome for both cutting and sanding in small tight spaces compared to corded tools. I have several Dewalt 12V tools so batteries are not an issue. I do recommend this oscillating tool.

Just as described and arrived on time and in perfect condition

Great little tool. I didn't know I needed this but it turned out to be great for some deck repairs, making cutting boards out a breeze. I have a DeWalt drill/impact driver set that uses the same batteries and are also great, solid tools. Battery life is good but this does use significantly more battery than the drill or impact driver. I suspect you'd need a couple on hand or a larger capacity battery for large projects.

Got it for my dad. It's the most borrowed tool at the shop now. These work awesome. They make short work of most cutting projects. Compact and convenient. They EAT batteries. FAST. Get a couple batteries or one with more AH.

Tool failed while cutting a 1/4” bolt took nearly 8 minutes to cut through the bolt then while attempting to start to cut the second one, the tool completely failed and does not want to start.I have a ton of tools from DeWalt. I feel as though this is not a new tool as stated for it to fail you can see by the teeth from factory. It was missing a couple on the right hand side, but the rest of them stood up pretty good. I can’t recommend this tool at this time.

very light but strong as my 20 volt reciprocating saw, I am 68 going 69 and I love tools and most of my tools are Dewalt . I love home improvement and handyman in profession.

I am a pro finish carpenter and having a multi/oscillating saw is essential for many tasks I perform nearly every day.
