This review is for the Edifier R1280DBs Active Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers (ASIN: B08865JM4N).Before I jump into my review, let me offer this bit of information that I didn't know and isn't obvious. A very nice pair of speakers that will give a broad range of sound clear and in all ranges. Suitable for everything from classical music to gaming with a subwoofer.These speakers are a bit small for my living room and I therefore decided to return them. However I would buy them again for a smaller area. And probably will. One issue though, they do not have the ability to be adjusted in terms of trouble and base using the remote. That is only done manually. Nevertheless volume control can be adjusted with the remote. Pairing was easy as well. Good looking set.

There is a lot of bang for your buck with these speakers, but you should have some realistic expectations.Dialog and musicality are excellent for a small room. Bass extension is acceptable, but the roll off below 80Hz is noticeable. They will go down to 30Hz, but the roll off is so severe, I would not expect them to play well below 60HzIf you push them to hard, the treble becomes "tinny" and ear fatiguing, with lacking thud that comes with sub 60Hz speakers. Most importantly, they sound great. They sound way bigger than they seem like they have a right to, really thumpy bass, like, for real. The connectivity is great (Bluetooth-wise, that is). The Bluetooth button on the remote makes setup and pairing a snap. The real wood boxing looks really nice, too (very good build material quality). Good value and a great buy.I've been using them daily, for hours and hours at a time, for several months now. Great for music. I also, as they are seated on my headboard, use them for white noise playlists while sleeping. For that, they are also excellent.

Fantastic sound for your money and the bluetooth works and connects easy and always. Plenty enough volume for a room with my computer. If they were any louder my neighbors would knock on my door, so I'm happy with them.

I am instantly in love with these speakers.Running these from of my MBP using optical out via a USB C port. Didn't need anything overly loud in my office but made sure to get this model as it has a subwoofer out just in case. For my needs, I can't see a need for a sub. Granted I was shooting for something for lower volumes that wasn't going to rattle walls however the low end is definitely there. Like the mids and highs, it's accurate and provides enough warmth. This is the second Edifier setup that I have purchased in the past two months! I have two passive P12’s with the T5s subwoofer connected powered through small car audio amplifier. That setup is in my lure making shop. I liked it so much that I upgraded my surround system for the TV.
