Absolutely amazing sound!!!!
Well, I’m mid-50s, so I come from a time when it always required and amazing receiver/amp + amazing speakers to get great sound. So, was a bit skeptical that the small size and modest price could deliver…..and deliver they do!!! Loud, full, clean, amazing bass, great mid, restrained treble. Simply, I’m blown away. These are my office speakers, so blows the roof off. I can’t comment on how they’d work for big room or as part of a home theater setup. I bought these for music and music only. WOW!!!

Best wireless/active speakers!
These Edifier S3000MKII speakers were paired at the factory & sound amazing! I don't have a great ear for complex equilizer adjustments & these speakers are flexible enough that I could use a preset sound (Dynamic) & make minor adjustments if needed. They paired up to my Samsung tablet & phone with no issues. Best sounding speakers I have owned to date. Perfect for digital music reproduction (Any genre or era). I just wish that I would have decided during the brief window when they were $100 cheaper. Word of caution, they are heavy so take care when unboxing. Excellent purchase!

Okay but not great
These don't really sound any better than my Edifier S1000DB or S1000W pairs of speakers. Honestly regretting not getting some good passive bookshelf speakers and a cheap amp. I'm used to getting a lot more sound for this price!
