It is surprising how big, warm, and bright the sound from these speakers are. Not harsh. The response, compared to what I had, is much more even across the frequency range as I can hear it. Mids don't compete with highs, and lows down drown out the highs or mids. They get as loud as I need them to.They look amazing, feel solid, and the controls work perfectly and easily. I got them on sale for just over 100 bucks and they're well worth the price. That was my budget and I couldn't be happier since I don't really feel these are a compromise in any way. I much prefer them to the old Bose Companio

I bought these to improve the (miserable) sound quality of my Crosley 7-in-1 media player. It’s super cool but I’ve heard Hallmark cards with better sound quality.These fit nicely on my shelf and look good. I hooked them up via a 3.5mm to RCA cord. I’m genuinely shocked at how good they sound, especially considering the price. They easily fill my office with full spectrum sound. The limiting factor in my setup is 100% the Crosley, not the speakers.I couldn’t disagree with the reviewer that said the bass was lacking more. We are enjoying the speakers. We have them connected to our Sirius radio. It puts out a good sound. The knobs are on the back of one of the speakers and they are easy to turn. There’s an on and off switch in the back. The speakers are a good size and they sound great. The is one problem, and it’s with the remote for the volume. Practically worthless. You have to get within 4 to 5 feet of the speaker to make them work. What’s the point? Once in a while, I can be about 8 feet and it might work, but it’s not consistent. I’ve bought three sets of these. I have one in my bedroom one on my back porch and one in my garage. They’re all connected to my Alexa devices plugged directly into them and when I’m having people over for the holidays or just to get together, I can have music in the entire house and it sounds good.

Size is perfect for bookshelf or desktop. At the time of writing this review, I've owned these for about a week. I use them as computer speakers and they work wonderfully. They have no static unless you turn them up to an unreasonably high volume, however, you have to have your ears next to the speaker to hear the static. Music sounds great and so do games. There is an power LED on the front of the speaker that shines through the front cover. I personally don't like it, so I covered it with electrical tape. These are great speakers and I highly recommend these to anyone who's looking for a nice set of speakers for their computer setup

Bought the previous 1280 model for computer monitors. They are a great value with balanced sound and all the important features. A friend needed a set of desktop speakers, so we ordered this new 'improved' 1380 model. Fit and finish is excellent, with all the same features as the 1280.I did a side-by-side sound comparison and prefer the older 1280 model. This new model has too much low bass, and mid-bass is missing. The bass control does not improve this without taking out mid-bass also. To me anyway, the 1280 has a warmer, more musical sound.Another problem is less input level sensitivity. I
