I got these speakers as a gift for a friend holding a charity event and they sound absolutely amazing! The fact that they are compatible with a subwoofer is a fantastic feature and well worth the price increase. For bookshelf speakers at this price range you simply can’t find anything better. They also come with a remote which is such an important addition. After carefully studying speakers at this price range I settled on these and I’m so glad I did. I ordered these speakers for my desktop setup. Running them through my monitor speaker out so that each of my devices can share the speakers without having multiple cables or worrying about switching cables, but these conveniently have two RCA inputs for running two devices at once. I decided to upgrade from an Audio Technica Bluetooth speaker to proper bookshelf speakers for my Audio Technica turntable, and these looked like a budget friendly entry level option. 2 YEAR UPDATE : Still working perfectly. I never turn them off and just let them sit in standby 24/7. They get lots of daily use, sometimes for 12+ hours playing music.UPDATE: Been using this for 6 months or so. I have been using these speakers with my desktop PC for around 4 years now. I love the look of them since day one and they sound amazing. If you are wondering whether or not to buy these speakers and are skeptical like I was, due to sound quality being pretty subjective, buy them.
