I selected the camera type in the Wansview app. To set up the camera, I used the scan method to connect the camera to my network. It was easy. We've had these devices for a few weeks and have grown quite pleased with them. They offer automatic firmware updates via the accompanying app, ensuring seamless integration with the cameras, and as a result, the tracking functions now operate flawlessly. The sole challenge we've encountered pertains to the solar panels, which require direct sunlight to generate adequate charge during daylight hours. These cameras are working great. They were super easy to set up and get running. I did have them quit responding while I was on a trip and could not get them on line. After contacting customer support and communicating with a wonderful caring person by the name of Ruby these are probably the only cameras I will ever buy. After several days of communication with Ruby every day, trying every option she would have me try we finally got them back on line. I have never had a customer service rep from any company that was so patient and understanding and caring about getting my cameras working again

BUYER BEWARE! I don't usually write reviews, however this package needs a warning. The setup is very fast and easy and the app is good. That is all. The cameras are all finicky and do not behave the same way as each other or on a minute by minute basis, see below.1. The antennas don't do anything. 2. The brass inserts that hold the solar panels on pulls out every time. 3. The playback is stuttery and like a slide show if you are further than 20 feet from the router, even though it shows full signal. 4. The SD cards may or may not recognize every time. The cameras are very great quality and are great for monitoring use. We receive regular updates as the motion detection is very sensitive which is useful in detecting objects. The customer service is outstanding as well as we had a battery issue with one of the cameras and had it replaced with warranty. The customer service representative Rayna always attentive and very helpful in Assisting us. Very happy with the quality and recommend this product to everyone.
