This was just slightly smaller than I expected but the size difference didn't matter. It works great. It was easy to use, so my grandsons can use it. It is easy to clean, I made sandwiches my grandsons loved. I like that it makes 2 sandwiches at a time. I would definitely buy it again.

I have to drop a star because the two sides are not bread size. You can't make the wonderful looking grilled cheese. It has the edge of each sandwich sticking out & not cooking. Other than that, I will enjoy exploring other things with it. But the sandwiches of various kinds were what I wanted most. UPDATE; I'm liking this more & more. I fried 4 perfect eggs with runny yolk. I now trim the crust off my bread. It still bothers me because the pics show whole slices of bread. It can be wiped with a dry paper towel & look clean & new. Got this to replace one I bought in 1991!! Thought it was used enough that it deserved replacement. Raised 4 kids with the Original one. Such a great way to make sandwiches to accompany soup or chili too!!

I cant believe this product still exists as-is w good reviews. You plug it in and it has no switches, dials or anything. You font know when its ready, you put the sandwich in and you don’t lnow when its ready. Once the melted cheese touches the metal its on there for life. I had the same thing in the 80s and it remains unchanged. Awful experience, bad design. It doesnt even fit some bread
